WHAT IS A SELF MANAGED WEBSITE?
There are 2 types of websites that a design firm can build. The traditional and most expensive way is to use high end software such as Flash and Dreamweaver to build a site that is complex and difficult to edit. Alternatively, you can build a website that uses a built-in editor so you can make the changes yourself if you wish. These websites are called Self Managed Websites.

HOW MUCH?
That's always difficult to answer, however we have built web pages from $330 and complex websites valued up to $45,000. If you were to build a traditional flash based website then expect to spend upwards of $10000 to $150,000 Alternatively, a basic 5 page brochure websites starts from $1650. Shopping Cart websites (e-commerce) range from $6000 upwards depending on what's involved. Our fees include full design of the website, 10 hours training, online documentation, and phone support for the life of the website. Some clients love the animation and wow factors of flash, therefore we will sometimes build a landing page as an entry point before the client clicks through to the self managed website. Every project is quoted before commencement and paid for in installments to give you piece of mind.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS INVOLVED?
There are a 2 other charges to take into account.
Domain Name Registration: You need to purchase a domain name (www.yoursite.com.au). If we register this for you allow $99 inc gst for 2 years - it must be renewed every 2 years.
Hosting: We charge a monthly fee to manage your data/website on our servers. This is a normal practice in this industry. We own our own servers and they offer security to our clients. Our hosting fees include the following: Full time help desk, live phone support, updated training information, up to 5 spam free email accounts, fast connection, 99.8% uptime on our servers, security patches, virus and firewall protection and backups nightly of your website. Our Joomla hosting fees start at $44 inc gst per month – remember this includes upgrades, support & more.
